05/12/2008 - Asia - AWOS Systems Order - Countrywide network of 14 Military Airports
MTECH Systems Pty Ltd  has received an order for AWOS systems for 14 military airfields covering a whole country in the Asian region. The systems include RVR,  Cloud,  and Lightning  in addition to the usual sensors on airfield AWS units. This order included 18  fully compatible tactical weather stations capable of networking into the system. The system includes hot standby java server with SQL database and web interface capability.

MTECH Systems Pty Ltd would like to announce the availability of upgraded high security capability server software for its market leading opti-MET range of software products. "To meet the requirements of our customers who are concerned about systems security MTECH systems has responded by upgrading our software solutions to run on EAL6+ level UNIX operating systems” says Michael Duff, Product Manager, AWOS Systems. "We now offer compatibility with the INTEGRITY™ UNIX operating system which has been certified as being EAL6+ by the National Security Agency (NSA) and has the highest rated level of security of any available operating system. 05/08/2008 - Brindisi, Italy - Order of 5 AWOS Systems
MTECH Systems Pty Ltd  has received an order for 5 AWOS systems from an international customer. These systems include RVR, Visibilty and Cloud as well as the standard wind, pressure, temperature, humidity and dewpoint. These systems use touchscreen display technology for ergonomic display of data in the VCR.

03/06/2008 - Education and Research Initiative
MTECH systems is proud to announce it's new Education and Research Initiative. MTECH Systems is offering 10 units of its 8200-CHS ceilometer to approved educational and research institutions at a 50% discount on list price. MTECH Systems' CEO  Christopher King said at the launch announcement... 09/05/2008 - Melbourne, Australia
MTECH systems has recently competed delivery of a mobile tower AWOS solution to Airservices Australia. The system incorporates the latest in ultrasonic multi-sensor technology which allows for a very fast setup time when the mobile tower is needed for tactical deployment. The system includes two touch screen displays running the MITAS weather display software package. The AWOS automatically configures itself when activated through the innovative usage of digital compass senders, GPS devices and cabin attitude detection sensors. The system was first used to control the airspace above the 2008 Melbourne Grand Prix for VIP helicopter flights and airshow fly-by's. 02/04/2008 - Seoul, Korea
MTECH systems has recently competed the Incheon International airport 3rd Runway development project. The project completed for the Korean Aviation Meteorological Agency (KAMA) and the Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) involved the installation of full a full CAT3 AWOS and RVR system employing the MTECH 5000-300 R4 Transmissometers, 8200-CHS ceilometers and multi-platform MITAS Server Software running on dual hot standby servers.

25/02/2008 - Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia
MTECH systems has recently competed the delivery of a new AWOS system to Kuala Terengganu Airport, Malaysia. The project involved the installation of AWOS, ATIS and RVR sub-systems employing MTECH weather sensors, client software and fully redundant dual-hot standby MITAS server.

10/02/2008 - Mexico City, Mexico
MTECH systems has recently completed the delivery of new AWOS systems destined for the Mexico City International and Monterrey airports. The MTECH AWOS systems utilize MTECH weather and visibility sensors to deliver a fully customized AWOS and RVR Solution. Customized large format displays were requested by the customer and installed by MTECH in conjunction with our local technical representative.
